Diabetes - Type I

Type 1 diabetes occurs when your body makes little or no insulin. There is no known cause for it. You normally find out that you have it while you are a child or an adolescent. For that reason, it used to be called juvenile or insulin-dependent diabetes.

Symptoms include:

  • Increased thirst and frequent urination
  • Extreme hunger
  • Weight loss
  • Fatigue
  • Blurred vision
  • Mood swings
  • Frequent infections

Diabetes will become a chronic condition and if left untreated it can lead to blindness, heart disease, reduced blood supply, stroke and nerve damage. Type I diabetes is best managed with diet and exercise. Insulin injections are commonly required to lower blood sugar, however with Homeopathy there are various safe and viable methods to reduce your child's blood sugar without exposing their body to harmful drugs.
