Dr. Danny Thom
as B.Sc., D.M.S., H.D
Dr. Thomas graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry after which he was selected for a research grant at the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences at the St. Boniface General Hospital Research Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After completing his research studies on the prevention of restenosis in patients with balloon angioplasty, Dr. Thomas pursed study in the field of Homeopathy. Dr. Thomas completed a 4 year degree in Homeopathic Medical Sciences at Dr. Nielsen's Homeopathic Medical College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He then extended his training during a 4 month internship at Vinayaka Missions Homeopathic College in Salem, India. His overall training includes study in the fields of Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Surgery and Forensic Medicine. Dr. Thomas completed his degree with the publication of his thesis: "A Homeopathic Therapeutic Evaluation of Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Ulcerative Colitis & Crohn's Disease"
Dr. Thomas is the clinic and medical director of Alberta Homeopathic Medical Clinic and co-director of Alberta Thermography & Women's Holistic Clinic. His main office and pharmacy are located in St. Albert, AB. He frequents satellite clinics in Leduc and Camrose, AB as well. Dr. Thomas continues to serve patients in various surrounding communities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and in the United States. Currently he runs the main office in St. Albert and a satellite locations in Leduc, AB and Camrose, AB
In addition to private practice, Dr. Thomas has taught at the Canadian Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture in Calgary, AB. Dr. Thomas continues to be part of various educational and research seminars to further improve the quality of care he offers to his patients. He delivers educational seminars on a monthly basis ranging on various topics including hormone health, stress & anxiety and thermography.
Dr. Thomas has valuable experience in treating patients with acute and chronic conditions using the most safe, gentle and effective manner possible. Dr. Thomas is a member of both the Homeopathic Medical Council of Canada and the Canadian Coalition for Homeopathic Medicine. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Bio-regulatory Medicine and serves as the Chairman of Homeopathy as well as being a member of good standing of the Homeopathic Society of Alberta. Dr. Thomas strives to provide the utmost quality of care in meeting patients' health care, nutritional and lifestyle needs by offering various complete detoxification & metabolism regulation treatment plans in addition to various other treatment protocols.
Danielle Thomas RN, BN, CCT
We welcome Danielle Thomas to our St.
Albert clinic location as both Registered Nurse, and Certified
Clinical Thermographer. She brings with her, varied nursing
experiences from working with older age adults, pediatrics, and a
special focus of cardiovascular health. She received her Bachelor of
Nursing degree from the University of Lethbridge,
and has completed her thermography training in Toronto under Dr. Alex
Mostovoy. She is a member in good standing with the College and
Associationg of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Danielle is currently
employed as an RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the
Mazankoswki Alberta Heart Institute where her focus is on the recovery
of patients from open heart surgery, heart and lung transplants.
Danielle's passion and support for a natural approach to
health and delivery of health care makes her a valuable asset to our
team.
Sandra Strangman, AMTWP, RMT
Sandra Strangman has been in practice for 17 years and is the founder of Body Balance Therapeutic Massage of Edmonton. While Sandra tailors her expertise to the needs of her many clients, she is an acknowledged specialist in athletic therapy, deep tissue manipulation and acupressure. She furthered her education with specialized training in athletic therapy and massage therapy and continues to research and study new therapeutic advancements to further tailor her practice to optimize her patients needs. Sandra's interest in working with athletes, trainers and performers stems from her own background. Sandra has been a middle-distance runner for thirty years. She began competitive swimming at an early age and has taught life-saving techniques.
